Animal Computer Interaction is a research field that studies the design and use of technology with, for and by animals. It is related to the similar emergent research area of Animal-Centred Design, that treats animals at the centre of the design process for any technologies that they might use or be effected by. Application areas cross disciplines into: zoology, animal behaviour studies, ecology, veterinary science, social sciences, and human-computer interaction. If you would like to learn more about ACI, we recommend exploring the work of active ACI research labs. We invite you to get in touch if you have any specific questions.
